WAP44IO

802.11ac Wave 2 Outdoor AP with Internal Antenna

Description

The WAP44IO is a series of next generation 802.11ac Wave 2 based high-performance gigabit outdoor access points, launched by Amer Networks. The WAP44IO uses GE ports as its uplink ports for network access, which breaks through the limitations of FE ports and enables wireless multimedia applications to run at full capacity. Next-generation 802.11ac based high-performance gigabit outdoor wireless access Specifications The WAP44IO operates in a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band and employs technologies such as multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM), providing a data transmission rate of at most 400 Mbps in 2.4GHz band and 867Mbps in 5GHz band. The WAP44IO employs industrial standard components with an IP67 class solid shell, that is waterproof, and dustproof, enabling the device to suit an adverse indoor environment.

The AP can be used as a stand alone AP, and will support up to 8 SSID’s.

It can also be used with our Amer Wireless controllers, which will allow it to support up to 32 SSID’s, and a multitude of advanced features.

The WAP44IO is a series of high-rate wireless APs preferred in various outdoor application environments for many purposes such as campus WLAN access, campus coverage, and operators hot spot coverage.
